Clan History: Calorie control wasn't enough for some members of the Akimichi clan. Their weaknesses dawned upon them and soon a group of the clan became tired with the limitations of the clan. It wasn't enough strength, never enough. There was a greed instead of a gluttony and medical ninjutsu was the source of it all. A small group grew with some of the Akimichi's brightest to break what was possible with calorie control. They dawned their own symbol and eventually grew apart from the rest of the clan. Soon, their forbidden experimentation was shut to a halt by the Hokage and half of the people left the search and joined the rest of the Akimichi clan. The small group left had no choice but to defect and continue their research in hiding. Success came slowly with the loss of lives and irreversible mutations, but progress was still progress.

With five years of tireless research, they found it was all one big failure. They found that chakra or calories were the only two possible energy sources for a jutsu and saw they were only able to control the skin. Their research into a more efficient way to work with their bodies had hit a dead end and sadly there was no possible way to continue with the supplies they had left. The group released their failed human experiments and died in an assassination attempt against the head of the Akimichi clan.

The group left their accidents upon the world to die, but all the failures only adapted. They went through anything they could find in the lab and taught themselves medical ninjutsu. While they found their choices to be limited, they, in a desperate attempt to survive in the ninja world, found ways to weaponize their own bodies. With nothing but the skin on their backs, they traveled in a group and killed anyone on sight. Their methods of killing were notably horrifying and the group eventually mastered their only release.

Kekkei Genkai Description:
Members of the Yoru Clan are able to use the Skin element. This elements simply allows the manipulation and creation of skin as well as the ability to edit the properties of skin.

With the manipulation of skin comes their "copycat" ability. When they see another's face, even for a second, they take a mental snapshot of it. Upon doing so, they are able to change their face and even body structure to replicate the person perfectly. Anyone more than twice their size or more than two times smaller than themselves are unable to be the target of this ability. This ability has no chakra cost for the Yoru members and anyone capable of seeing their chakra signature will easily see through this. When this ability is in use, the member keeps the same properties of their original bodies in terms of chakra, muscle, etc. Merely for appearance, this childish trick can often prove rather effective. (I am not doing this as a jutsu because it is completely passive.)

Yoru Clan members receive a 20% word count reduction on training the Skin element techniques. They also don't age, die from old age, and they can't get sunburn or get scars. Jutsu/items/etc. causing harsh sunburns or aging shall affect them. Wounds as small as a paper cut or less are healed instantly on their bodies due to their control over skin.

Drawbacks:
Yoru clan members start with Skin as their only element, which is C-rank upon character application. They can only ever learn one other element at Sp. Jounin rank, and only up to S-rank.

Skin is not strong against any element, and is weak to the raiton element. Lightning goes passes through skin and could be sent right back to the user if they aren't careful. This only applies for jutsu and items not used by the user, as they can also be of use if coordinated correctly.
