| Ever since arriving on this planet, Kozai had been alone. Human beings flocked to each other, seeking out each other's company, and yet here he was... But of course, one had to consider the fact that Kozai was not human. Or at least, physically, he wasn't. His goal here was not to lord over these humans, but to understand how they worked. Exactly what was this "humanity" that people kept going on about? In other words, what made humans.... well, human? Of all the problems that Kozai had faced thus far, this was the most befuddling. After all, people seemed to give so many different answers, though the one he had heard most often was something along the lines of "free will". However, did Kozai not also have free will? Thus, he concluded, it must not be something exclusive to human beings.
So his search continued. He'd start with Konohagakure, of course, and work his way around the world. Here he was already at the gates, and with no time to lose, he'd hand in the visa that he'd acquired a few years ago. Just a few months' stay would be necessary... well, unless someone decided to stop him. That'd be inconvenient...

| Ah, what a wonderful day to be Hokage. His subjects were all doing their jobs and giving back to the community, and nothing had been destroyed. A pretty good record. Since things didn't really seem to be happening in town much, Gekido decided that he should hang around by the gates. It's not like anything important was going on this day anyway; it was a 70 degrees summer day with no academy or anything that was really important for him to be doing at his post.
So, yeah. Sitting at the gates, looking off into where his village ends and the wilderness begins. And, it just so happened that someone did arrive at the gates. A man. He didn't look like he could do too much harm, so Gekido didn't even activate his sharingan to check this person out. He came up peacefully and handed a slip of paper, basically saying that he was able to enter the village.
"Welcome to the fine village of Konohagkure. What brings you here?"

| Wait, so they even questioned visas here? How obnoxious. The old Kozai would have blown this guy off the face of the planet, but... well, he just didn't do that kind of thing anymore. He could try and play it cool and go for the "I seek knowledge" kind of thing, but that wasn't entirely true, now was it? Besides, even though he knew he was levels above any human, he didn't want people to feel belittled. So he just went with something less arrogant.
"I'm here on vacation for a few months. See the sights, meet new people, so on and so forth!" This was the complete truth, and there was no manner of falsity in Kozai's voice. He was also here to check out the local wildlife, but that was actually something he didn't want to tell them. Will Materialization... he wanted to see just how flexible this planet's wildlife was in various habitations. This was one of the last few biomes he had left to check. His intent wasn't malicious, just really, really curious.

| The man simply responds to him with no hesitation in his voice that he was going to be go on vacation. Well, Gekido was flattered. He was happy that someone was entering his village of their own volition without even seeming like they could do any harm. He enjoyed the peaceful times, and he was sure the person entering his village would do no harm. The other wandering ninja he saw around.. He did not approve of.
"A vacation, hmm? That sounds good to me. Be careful to mind some of the genin of my village though, one of them in particular is very cocky. If he attacks you just... don't take offence to that. I tell him not to do these things, but he doesn't trust anybody... His name is Jarkkos." Gekido looks away for a second, thinking about that genin.
"Anyway, welcome to the village. Don't cause trouble and you may stay as long as you'd like."

| Sweet! Thank goodness. He'd heard of people who had hard times with customs checkins, which was what he was hoping to avoid. Lo and behold, minimum trouble. Giving a nod and a happy smile, he'd start walking forward into the village. Trouble? He didn't intend on causing any. If people wanted to mess with him, he'd try to solve it peacefully. Kozai really hated having to use force to resolve conflict. Having to subject people to his power... it reminded him of worse days.
